We were pleased to hear from Rushmore Rotarian Dana Darger about adult and adolescent vaccinations in our community and state. Dana is a pharmacist with Monument Health and offered insight into the various vaccinations available and the science behind them.
We welcomed Heather Hoeye as a new member to our club. Welcome Heather!

Rushmore Rotary also held a special check passing ceremony at today’s meeting, presenting the Children's Home Society of South Dakota with a check for $120,000. Our club raised the funds through our annual golf tourney, held on Monday, July 27, in Rapid City. Thank you to the many Rotarians who helped with the planning of this event and to the many who volunteered on Monday. And thank you to the amazing team at the Children’s Home! We are pleased to continue our support of the Children’s Home and proud to share that Rushmore Rotary has contributed to every building project of the Children’s Home in Rapid City since its inception.
